In 2006, after months of renovation and remodeling, KickBack Rewards Systems relocated to the historic Mountain States Telegraph and Telephone building in historic downtown Twin Falls, Idaho. This building was originally built in the late 1920's to house the first telephone company servicing the area. The building has been utilized for many endeavors over the years; most recently again as Project Mutual Telephone Company, a local telephone and internet provider.
KickBack chose this building for its headquarters for many reasons. It was an opportunity to help revitalize the historic downtown district by bringing much needed jobs to the area. It was also appealing to utilize a building with so much historic value to the area. But the biggest reason KickBack chose this specific building was the modern state-of-the-art data center that is located in the basement.
Beneath this 80 year old building beats the heart of one of the most sophisticated data centers in Idaho. Originally constructed by Project Mutual Telephone in 2004, this hardened facility has all the features you would expect to find in Class-A data center. It is fully PCI compliant and features climate control, FM-100 fire suppression, battery back-up, generator back-up, and RFID enabled controlled access. It serves as the home to the areas largest fiber optic network and the central office for up to 150,000 phone lines and thousands of internet customers. Now, KickBack's networks have found a perfect home with unlimited communication capabilities. |
