- What is Loyalty Marketing?
Loyalty Marketing is marketing that
is directed at current loyal customers. It offers a better value proposition to
these customers in order to reward their behavior and in hopes of nurturing
them to be better customers. Loyalty Marketing generally includes better net
pricing to its membership. These programs also collect valuable historical
purchasing data on its members and then leverage this data for targeted and
relevant traditional promotional marketing.

- What should Loyalty Marketing do for my business?
A well designed loyalty program
should accomplish three basic goals:
1. Decrease customer
attrition
2. Increase average
frequency of visit (Or Wallet Share)
3. Increase the average
purchase size (Ticket Average)
Some more advanced programs may
also have elements that can actually increase sales by means of customer
acquisition.

- How much will a Loyalty Program for my customers cost
me?
The answer to this question depends
on many factors, examples include: cost of rewards, technology solutions
desired, program administration, token (card) costs, promotional materials,
advertising, training, etc. KickBack Systems utilizes a proprietary cost
projection method called "The Numbers" to project the likely costs of your
loyalty program. We also specialize in designing programs that are among the
most cost efficient and effective in the industry. Yes, we do give free quotes!

- I am a single site owner. Can Loyalty Marketing work
for me?
Yes. We have products that are
extremely effective for everyone from a single site operator all the way up to the
10,000 unit chain. We can also design programs for all budgets. If you think
you want a program, but wonder if you can afford it, you should still give us a
call. You will be pleasantly surprised.

- How does a loyalty program benefit my customers?
Specifically; it depends on how
your program is designed. Generally; customers will feel appreciated, rewarded,
vested and respected for their patronage. They will "want" to give you more of
their business. They will be less inclined to do business with your
competitors. Properly designed loyalty programs affect the overall way a
customer "feels" about doing business with you.

- What can I do with the data that is collected on my
customers?
The terms and conditions of the
program membership will set the limits that you choose. But you will likely
have information on the individual shopping behaviors of your members. You will
know who they are, when they come in, and what they buy, etc. This is very
powerful information that can be used for marketing on a surgical level. With
this information your traditional marketing efforts will be infinitely more
effective at a fraction of the cost. Many companies that have embraced Loyalty Marketing
have said that they will never engage in "mass" marketing again. Members of our
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) department are experts in all the latest
"Best Practices", and will assist you with getting the most out of your data.

- Will this integrate with my current POS system?
It depends on your current system
and its capabilities and on what exactly you want to do, but there is a very
good chance that we can integrate seamlessly. We also have myriad of solutions
for those companies that are currently utilizing non-compatible systems or that
do not have standard solutions deployed. Regardless of POS system, we have
great solutions for anyone who wants to do a loyalty program.

- What is the difference between a Coalition Loyalty Program
and a Proprietary Loyalty Program?
A coalition loyalty program will
partner two or more businesses, possibly with different ownership, to
participate in the same program. From a customer's point of view, they can join
at one business and can possibly use the card at other locations. This
increases the perceived value and usefulness of the membership to the consumer.
A proprietary loyalty program is
sponsored by a single business with one or more locations. A customer can earn
rewards when they patronize this business. Some companies like the simplicity
of this type of program.

- What is the difference between discount based and
rebate based loyalty programs?
Discount based programs (sometimes
referred to as two-tiered pricing models) create a situation where program
members pay a lower price than non-members. (Instantly)
Rebate based programs allow members
to accumulate rewards based on specific performance. These rewards can be
accumulated and redeemed at some time in the future at the awarding business or
according to program rules.
Either discounting, rebating, or a
balance between the two, will be the right choice for the basis of a business's
loyalty program. Which one depends on many different factors and is something
that our loyalty consultants are experts in figuring out. The wrong choice can
insanely expensive and ineffectual for a business.

- Will the loyalty transactions be ran in real-time?
This depends on the final program
design, but the overwhelming majority of the programs that we have designed are
ran in real-time. Live instant information is necessary to optimally shape the
transaction as it is in progress. Real-time communications with the loyalty
system host is necessary to return necessary information to the customer and
the client. This can be accomplished through TCP/IP high speed communications
(internet) or dial up connections.

- Is the information on my business and customers
encrypted as it is transferred to the loyalty host?
100% of all transactions will be
fully encrypted to protect the valuable data against corporate espionage and
identity theft. All of our systems are protected from unauthorized access at
every level. Our servers are all housed in secure and hardened facilities with
multiple levels of redundancies and data backup.

- How soon can I launch a loyalty program in my business?
It of course, depends on things
like the size of your business, number of locations, amount of customization
required, and the time necessary to secure equipment, print tokens and
collateral materials. Some of coalition program offerings can be deployed very
expeditiously as we have all necessary materials in stock. Therefore the
timeframe to launch a loyalty program can be as little as two weeks to as long
as eight weeks.
