PCATS Announces New Additions to Board of Directors

 

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) has announced its 2008 leadership following elections held on January 24, 2008, during the 5th Annual PCATS Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida.

 

At the PCATS Board of Directors Meeting, the gavel passed from Chairperson Devin Bates of Susser Holdings Corporation’s Stripes® Convenience Stores in San Angelo, Texas, to the newly elected Chair Jenny Bullard, CIO of Flash Foods, in Waycross, Georgia, who served as PCATS Vice Chair in 2007. Bates will continue to serve on the PCATS Board as immediate past chair.

 

“PCATS just completed a very productive year under Devin Bates leadership and as we move into 2008. I look forward to working with the PCATS board of directors, staff and members to keep this strong momentum going,” said Bullard. “PCATS has accomplished much in the past year as result of Devin’s strong leadership and we are pleased to welcome Jenny Bullard as chair of the PCATS Board. Jenny’s 35 plus years of experience in the convenience store industry, particularly in the area of technology and standards will be a real asset for the Alliance,” said PCATS Executive Director John Hervey.

 

Director of MIS Gabriel Olives of Turkey Hill Minit Markets in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who served as Chair of the Retailer Business Requirements Committee in 2007, was elected Vice Chair of the board.  Vice President of Strategic Industry Initiatives Ann Dozier of the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia, was reelected to a two year term as Secretary and Lisa Stewart, president of Impact 21 Group, was reelected to a similar term as Technology Advisory Committee Chair.

Retailers who previously served as Chairperson on the PCATS Board of Directors are Richard D. Oneslager Jr. owner of Balmar Management Group, LLC, in Denver, Colorado, who held the position in 2006 and President and CEO Scott Hartman of CHR Corp’s (dba Rutter's Farm Stores) in York, Pennsylvania, who served as Chair in 2004-2005.
