Company: As our VP of Sales, Ray has designed dozens of loyalty programs across the country. He has worked with many large companies consulting them in the proper design and implementation of programs that address their individual and unique needs. Ray also oversees our third party relationships with our value added partners and resellers. His experience in program design includes grocery stores, convenience stores, truck stops, casinos, general retail and restaurants just to name a few. Ray is also very instrumental with working hand in hand with our Research and Development department to create many of our proprietary solutions.
Industry Activities/Interests/Achievments: Ray graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in business management and marketing. Prior to getting started in the loyalty industry in 1982, Ray worked as a fireman and an air traffic controller. When former President Ronald Reagan suggested to Ray that he should seek other opportunities, Ray went to work for one of the largest loyalty marketing programs in the US at the time and eventually became the Director. During his seventeen year tenure there, Ray was able to achieve many impressive goals. The two he is most proud of are; growing the company by 400% and designing and developing the very first integrated electronic loyalty program in the grocery business. In 1999, Ray co-founded his own company, which was formed to provide electronic loyalty programs to small to medium sized American businesses. Ray was an original consultant who worked on the design of the KickBack Points coalition program in 1999, and was there when we first launched the program in 2000. Ray came to work for KickBack in 2005 as the VP of sales and has continued his streak of hard work, innovative thinking, and consistency at delivering more than is expected. . Ray brings to the KickBack Team, the knowledge that only comes from experience. 20+ years of designing loyalty programs for US businesses gives Ray the credentials that are nearly impossible to find in this industry. If it has been done in loyalty before, Ray has probably done it. In fact, there is probably a pretty good chance that he was the FIRST to do it! Ray works regularly with the Memphis chapter of the American Association on Mental Retardation (AAMR).
Something you probably didn’t know about Ray: Ray likes to golf, bowl, and gamble. Ray believes his greatest achievements are his four children and the fact that three already have college degrees and the fourth is looking forward to continuing his education after he graduates from High School.
